Karyn found yoga 15 years ago at the gym, and soon met a teacher who cracked the door open to deeper aspects of the practices through pranayama. She continued her learning as a student of Iyengar yoga and hatha yoga for many years, before connecting asana with spirit through bhakti yoga practices. Karyn became a certified yoga teacher in 2016 through Synergy Yoga School in Seattle, and offers teachings to align body and mind through the heart. Her classes are accessible to all, with offerings of hands-on adjustments and intelligent use of props. When not in a yoga class, you will find Karyn exploring beaches, hiking in the woods or sharing time (and good food!) in community with friends and family.
