I have been sharing yoga with kids in schools, yoga camps and studios in Seattle and the Eastside since 2012.

I first fell in love with yoga when I was pregnant with my first child in 2002. It was a practice that helped ground me as an individual and expectant parent. I felt like I had stumbled upon a secret gift. I often joked, “oh if only I had discovered yoga as a teenager!”

As I mothered two young children and juggled my marketing career, yoga continued to be a tool I drew upon to help align my mind, body, and spirit.

In 2011, I decided to deepen my yoga studies and enrolled in a 200 hour teacher training program at Yogalife (now OM Culture). As I practiced at home my kids were naturally curious and began to join me in exploring yoga poses and breathing. They brought an element of joy and curiosity to the practice — and didn't overthink the poses like their mama!

It was in those moments I felt a calling to specialize in teaching yoga to youth and families and began training closely with my mentor.

Off the mat I spend time with my husband, two kids and our dog Pearl. I enjoy skiing, reading, travel and “filling my cup up” by deepening my personal yoga practice.
