Before Alice became a massage practitioner, she worked with people with special needs for about 7 years. She has traveled, lived and worked in Europe, Mexico and Guatemala. In Ireland, she worked on a farm with people with developmental disabilities and mental illness. It was there she first saw the incredible benefits of massage and decided she wanted to give that gift of peace and relief. Alice received her massage training in Portland, OR in 2004 and had her first practice in Guatemala working with both travelers and locals alike. She moved back to Seattle in 2006 and continued with her massage practice.
Alice is a Certified Infant Massage Educator with The International Association of Infant Massage and Infant massage USA. She has been teaching classes and offering private sessions for 3 years. Alice is certified in Pregnancy and postpartum Massage but also specializes in deep tissue and injury treatment massage. She is a certified post-partum doula with NAPS (Northwest Association of Postpartum Support) and mother to her 6 year old daughter. Alice currently offers Massage for Labor once a month at Aditi.
