PRENATAL YOGA TEACHER TRAINING
Learn to support women through each trimester of pregnancy, and postpartum. You will be trained in a sequence that is specifically designed to empower and prepare women for birth, and develop the tools you need to create your own fun, safe, and empowering sequences.
Blooma™ is a registered Prenatal Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance. This 85-Hour Training is open to aspiring or experienced yoga teachers, doulas, midwives, OB’s, labor and delivery nurses, and mamas. Teachers with a current RYT200 designation with Yoga Alliance may register as a RPYT upon completion of this training. Blooma™ provides a unique experience with our focus on all trimesters and postpartum during this comprehensive training that has gone international. Our training is a one of a kind experience and has changed the lives of 1,000’s of woman. You will leave our training prepared to lead a beautiful prenatal practice that builds a mother’s confidence, strength, connects her to baby, and uplifts her mind, body, and spirit.
Blooma’s™ Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training draws from a rich history of birthing wisdom, and will take you through a journey as you explore your own beliefs surrounding birth.
Our training provides an abundance of information about labor, birth, and why yoga is beneficial for this specific stage in a woman’s journey. We explore a sequence that fits mothers in all trimesters and encourages empowerment and strength that is necessary for pregnancy and birth. During Blooma’s™ training you will learn far more than how to teach modifications for pregnancy. You will gain comprehensive knowledge of anatomy during and after pregnancy, and will be introduced to wellness and childbirth education philosophies that can support birthing mamas. You will also examine the emotional and physical challenges a woman may face during labor and childbirth, and how as a prenatal yoga instructor, you can help prepare her for that experience. The weekend is full of connection, movement, guest speakers and fun! You not only discover how to be an advocate for yoga and birth, but what birth really means to you as a woman in this day and age.

You will learn how to hold space and ask the “right” questions to explore what many mothers hold deep in their hearts and bring into their labors. Guest speakers from our birth community will share their knowledge about the 4th trimester; you will gain insight about the mind/body connection of the postnatal mama, and discover what poses, rest, nutrition, and support she will need after her birth. You will create your own sequence, spend time practice teaching, and will be introduced to a sequence that mamas can practice with their new babies to encourage bonding.
