Madison’s Story

Madison Buxton first became familiar with Aditi six years ago, when one of her favorite teachers, Marie Wiliquette, started teaching at the studio. “I also did trade work for Aditi for about nine months, so I know a lot about the studio and got to know Julie, other students, and the teachers,” she says. “Aditi has a special place in my heart.”

Colleen Alabi first heard of Aditi in January 2020 — she was about twelve weeks pregnant, and looking for prenatal classes. She was able to attend a few months of classes in person before COVID-19 turned all of Aditi’s in-person classes into virtual sessions. “The virtual classes have literally kept me sane for the last four months of my pregnancy,” she says.

Karla Henrick found Aditi in a very organic way — walking past the original studio location on Stone Way. when she’d visit her native Wallingford when she’d come home from the East Coast, where she lived for nearly 20 years.

Rachel’s Story

Rachel’s Story

When Rachel found out she was pregnant with her son — now six months old — last April, she started practicing prenatal yoga right away. “I had already been practicing yoga once a week elsewhere, and was looking for a safe way to continue,” she said. “I figured prenatal yoga would be a good way to stretch. I found so much more at Aditi.”
