Andrea Hildebrandt

Andrea started practicing yoga over 20 years ago, but still considers herself a student of yoga as well as a teacher. Her life’s journey has always included childhood education. She has been a pre-school teacher, a K-12 museum history and physics educator, a K-5 garden ed teacher and currently teaches outdoor environmental ed for IslandWood throughout the school year. In the summer she teaches kids yoga & gardening at the Queen Anne P-Patch.

Recently, she earned a certification for teaching kids and family yoga through Seattle Kids Yoga, allowing her to share the benefits of yoga with young people and the community. She is excited to continue acquiring yoga certifications as she learns from her peers, students and community. She is always deepening her personal practice through retreats and continuing yoga education, in turn, expanding her offerings in the studio and on the mat.

Andrea brings a love of nature, music, literature and play into her classes. She enjoys spending her free time hiking, playing with her dog, seeing friends & family, gardening, reading, moon, sun & star gazing as well as cooking.
