Amanda has been an avid practitioner of yoga for 28 years. She started with hot yoga at 18 years old to bounce back from an accident that crushed a lower vertebrae, and has been hooked on its healing powers ever since. Over the years she has enjoyed discovering even more depth in her practice through a variety of styles as well as breathwork and meditation. She was initiated into the tradition of Transcendental Meditation in 2019 and completed a 200 hour teacher training at Twist in Edmonds in 2025. She now guides private and small group Breathwork journeys and has taught vinyasa, yin and hatha at various studios in the Seattle area.
Off the mat, she has worked as a professional artist, muralist, and sign painter for over 20 years. She is a mom of four, ages 9-24 yrs, and loves showing them an example of a well-rounded human with varied interests who is not defined by one identity, job, or mode of thinking. She thru-hiked the entire Pacific Crest Trail in 2005, cycled from Canada to Mexico down the coast in 2007, and is at her most content when in the mountains.
