Christy discovered the practice of yoga in 2009 and has used it ever since as an important emotional and physical release. As a teacher, she strives to hold the space for others to discover this as well. Christy brings her background as a dietitian into the yoga room, with an emphasis on body kindness and empowerment. With class themes around curiosity and inspiration from mother earth, she leads students through alignment-focused cues, creative flows and provides opportunities for both strengthening and stretching the body and mind. Christy also incorporates mantras and mudras, meditation and pranayama into classes. While she was pregnant herself, she was able to obtain her pre/postnatal yoga certification to assist others through this special time of life. She looks forward to connecting with students in her classes!
