Kristen Gutierrez, MS, RYT, RPYT, is a West Seattle-based mother to two young girls as well as a perinatal yoga teacher and Birthing from Within mentor-in-training. She completed her 200-hour training at Yogaview in Chicago in 2015 and is a 2023 graduate of Sacred Birth, Awakened Spirit Yoga's prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher training.
Whether she's wrangling her kiddos, growing and foraging herbs, gaping at mountains, or stopping to smell the wildflowers, yoga and motherhood are the lenses through which she examines it all. She is passionate about birth work and believes pregnancy, birth, and parenthood are sacred rites of passage worthy of deep care and reverence.
